Matthew is a results-driven technology executive with over 20 years leadership experience in M&A, software engineering, infrastructure operations, and digital transformation. Since late 2021, he has been the Chief Information Officer of TIH which is the holding company for CRC Group, McGriff, Starwind, Amrisc, Crump and many others. In his short tenure at TIH, he has led significant transformational initiatives which include full migration of four data centers to the cloud, implementation of new ERP, HRIS, upgraded network, and build out of a new cyber security program. Along the way he has overseen the integration efforts of 20+ brokerage acquisitions and leads all technology engagements with investment banks and advisors related to M&A due diligence. He also enjoys the opportunity of working with best in class private equity firms Stone Point Capital and Clayton Dubilier and Rice.Prior to his appointment as CIO for TIH, Matthew served as CIO for Consumer and Small Business Banking at Truist Financial Corporation along with many other roles. During his tenure, he led the successful integration of 800+ systems enabling Branch, ATM, Contact Center, Deposits, Mortgage, Lending, Credit Cards, Debit cards, and Indirect Auto related to the merger of equals between BB&T and SunTrust. He gained significant experience creating success in a highly regulated environment supervised by the FRB, FDIC, State of NC, and NYDFS among others. He also worked in all facets of client-facing digital technology including digital sales enablement along with online and mobile banking development where his team received many industry recognitions including a JD Power award for best mobile banking application in the U.S.Matthew serves on the Board of Trustees for the American College of Financial Services and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
