My leadership extended to the development of a centralized warehouse and several hubs in the Permian Basin, where I worked closely with the Inventory Manager to optimize stock inventory and enhance supply chain efficiency.Took an active role in supervising and mentoring both direct reports and contracted personnel, consistently achieving and surpassing the performance goals established by supply chain management. My commitment to staff development involved training employees and contractors in advanced warehouse management techniques, which significantly boosted team productivity and adherence to industry best practices.To streamline operations, I improved the invoice processing system by conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy in three-way matches, proper cost center coding, and prompt reconciliation of discrepancies. Additionally, I collaborated with planners and operations management to forecast maintenance needs, guaranteeing 100% material availability for scheduled work through proactive stock management.My responsibilities also included managing inventory levels by analyzing MRO demand and monitoring work-in-progress issues. I ensured compliance with policies by reviewing and approving requisitions for warehouse stock and conducting comprehensive audits and year-end cycle counts to maintain SOX compliance. By spearheading the reconciliation of unaccounted-for inventory and implementing Oracle-based barcode tracking systems, I drove substantial improvements in inventory accuracy.
