A regional increase of 50,000 doors compared to the 2018 & 2020 election cycles.• Hired, trained, and supervised a team of five staff that met their personal goals, long-term metrics, and reporting that lead to twelve state house races winning including four defeats of GOP incumbents. • Developed a positive and trusting relationship with candidates and campaign managers to assist in giving field and successfully planning then execution of political events involving high-level office holders, labor leaders and business leaders. ——Overview:The Minnesota House DFL is hiring multiple full-time Regional Field Directors for the 2022 cycle to work with candidates and incumbent legislators running for the Minnesota House of Representatives. Regional Field Directors will report to the Field Director. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, creative problem solvers, with campaign-related experience, who are passionate about protecting and expanding our DFL majority in the House.- Managing all aspects of the Minnesota DFL House field program in an assigned region;- Hiring, training, and managing regional field organizing staff;- Representing the Minnesota House DFL and maintaining relationships with partner organizations;- Establishing a culture of accountability with candidates and the House DFL to ensure effective execution of individual candidate field plans and providing proactive support to help candidates reach field benchmarks.- Providing regular field reports to the Field Director.- Assisting campaigns and staff in meeting field objectives.- Any other campaign related tasks, as needed.

“Matthew will be the point facilitator of the Warroad area’s broadband development steering committee, working closely with the City of Warroad, local area providers, and the Warroad Community Development LLC. Matthew will develop and implement a strong rural organizing strategy to mobilize residents, private sector leaders, and publicly elected officials to prioritize broadband infrastructure investment in funding decisions. He will also support with household speed mapping initiatives, crucial to becoming eligible for certain grant funds, and will develop a clear communications strategy to align private and public investment, engage rural residents in advocacy around broadband development, and support broadband accessibility efforts to ensure that low-income, remote residents have affordable, safe, and informed ways to access broadband most immediately.”

The Student Body President shall serve as the voice for all Bemidji State Students. They shall run the Senate and attend all relevant administrative meetings.

Photographers working in the sports industry use their artistic vision to take pictures of fast-moving athletes during live sporting events using manual and digital cameras. Most photographers use specialized equipment, such as high-definition lenses and multi-shutter-speed cameras. Peer Academic Assistant (PAA) will serve as an integral part of the staff team working with the First Year Residential Experience (FYRE) Program. The position responsibilities are diverse and require a significant personal commitment toward facilitating an academic emphasis within the FYRE community. PAAs work with several community groups within the FYRE program: an FYE course, a residence hall community, and the FYRE community as a whole. Duties listed below reflect those possible for this position. Since communities have different needs, specific duties will be discussed with the supervisor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAcademic Support• Participate in the development and implementation of FYRE Orientation. This includes attending and participating in programs, delivering academic programs, and developing relationships with students.• Provide tutorial services in identified academic area(s).• Participate in a staffing rotation in the Academic Resource Center (ARC), utilized for tutoring and quiet study locations (minimum two hours per week).• Become familiar with campus academic resources and keep students informed of their existence and functions.• Provide academic assistance to meet student needs.• Develop and maintain an academic bulletin board on assigned floor.• Promote continued interaction between the students and their faculty advisor. • Assist in tracking the academic success of FYE, floor, and hall students.• Assist students in identifying their academic goals.• Provide interpretation of academic policies and procedures.• Assist first year students during preregistration throughout the year.• Participate in meetings to identify and develop interventions for at-risk students.• Foster an inclusive community where all are welcome and differences are celebrated.
