I am a motivated and inquisitive Biomedical Science Student at the University of Sheffield, with particular interests in Physiology and Pharmacology. Studying this degree alongside independent research into these areas of interest has enabled me to appreciate the significance that biomedical research can have on the lives of patients, especially from a pharmaceutical perspective. My aspirations to benefit others have been influential in my career ambitions, as I have successfully applied to Reckitt Benckiser to operate within Global Regulatory Affairs, and I am excited to continue my personal development whilst making a difference to their consumers. Making a difference is something that has always resonated with me; I actively strive to be the best I can be in my part time work as a retail assistant at Primark and as a Level 1 general gymnastics coach at my childhood club.In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy exercising by going for walks and to the gym. I have also been participating in gymnastics since age 6 and previously volunteered as an assistant coach at my club, before successfully passing my Level 1 general gymnastics qualification and becoming a qualified coach. I have continued my enjoyment in gymnastics through joining the university gymnastics society, with whom I attend training sessions to keep being involved in the sport.
