I am a construction project manager specializing in acoustic projects. At Pilchner -Schoustal International Inc. For over ten years I have managed the construction of commercial recording studios and media facilities for the music and film industry. With Technature Inc. I also manage the installation of Acoustic materials in ICI projects.Mau5trap is a densely detailed working recording studio for the artist Deadmau5. A floating acoustically isolated room within a room, and a combination of millwork, metal fabrication, electrical, glazing and fabric work were incorporated to create a unique spaced designed for one client's very specific needs.Jukasa is an audio-post facility for film. I was responsible for the management and construction of a $1.5 million dollar interior finishes project... in just one room! My scope of work ranged from drawing package to estimating and quoting, offsite management to site foreman and crew chief. My best skills are that I have been a hands-on tradesman with multiple disciplines from years of experience and I am fortunate to possess both a technical and fastidious mind which has given me an attention for details of large scale technical work.My approach to management are to over prepare whenever possible and come at a problem with as much information in tow as possible, To stick to a budget one must have a detailed plan and then must ensure everyone sticks to it, and flexibility when dealing with ever changing circumstances is critical.My post-secondary education starts at Mohawk College where I graduated as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist with Honours. The three year program developed my desire to understand the physical world. My second diploma came from graduating, with honours, from The Harris Institute - Production Engineering program. This program brought my love of music, audio recording and electronics together and to where I am today.
