Throughout my educational journey, I have been interested in the math and sciences.  More specifically, Electrical Engineering and the human nervous system.  I may have had a rocky start to my higher education, but I have persevered and gotten to where I am today.Along with my classes, I worked part-time to gain work and financial experience.My part-time position was with The Home Depot on the truck unloading team.  Throughout my time there I enjoyed the people and the work.  The work helped keep me in shape while giving me the ability to learn leadership skills.  I held a leadership role on the truck unload team.  I oversaw leading pre-work stretching, keeping everyone motivated, operating a forklift, and other similar tasks.  In addition to unloading trucks, I also helped stock shelves.  This put me out on the sales floor interacting with customers, allowing me to gain customer service experience.Currently, I am working as an assistant manager at Leslie's Pro, a pool store. I help with all aspects of the store, from opening and closing the store to running water tests. This experience has helped me gain more leadership experience while still keeping me in shape.For a career, I am focused on Electrical Engineering, but photography is the hobby that I love to do in my spare time.  Since I got my first camera my eleventh birthday, I have been enamored with taking pictures.  Lately I have been attracted to astrophotography or photographing the night sky.  My banner photo is one of my pictures of the Andromeda Galaxy under the very dark skies at Three Rivers Foundation.  This hobby has led me to learn lots about space and astronomy and meet many great people.  One organization where I volunteer is Three Rivers Foundation.  They are an astronomy organization that has a dark sky astronomy campus in Comanche Springs, Texas providing workshops that teach people about astronomy and astrophotography.
