Utility Operator 2
Current• Operates water analysis and treatment equipment to ensure water treatment, distribution, wastewater treatment, and collection is performed as per regulatory, environmental and safety standards.• Controls flow and processing of water/wastewater, residuals, and finished water/effluent.• Monitors SCADA, online analyzers, meters, and control panels, and observes variations in operating conditions.• Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests and analyses, interpreting test results to determine processing requirements and adjustments.• Ensures plant records are accurate and up to date.• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sampling of all aspects of the water and wastewater utility systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.• Operates, inspects and services equipment in water and wastewater, including analyzers, blowers, pumps, valves. • Performs related security, safety and administrative procedures and inspections involving treatment chemicals, personal protective equipment, general health and safety procedures, and emergency preparedness.• Scheduling, and completing work orders related to plant operations, field work, safety equipment• Leading safety meetings, annual procedure/assessment reviewal. Assisting with incident reporting/investigation. • Additional safety tasks as required as the HSE representative.
