Projects include the installation of EVDO and Voice RF Carrier at cellular sites throughout the network, iDEN MSO decommissioning for three locations, and other various customer projects. Duties include: working with the customer’s scope, schedule and cost budgets to accommodate the installation of hardware and software resources for the Sprint network. This is accomplished by working with the various internal as well as external organizations such as Provisioning, Site Development, Logistics, Finance, Field Services Organization and Project Management Office to keep the project on schedule, within scope and budget.

Engineering Manager: Network Engineering Installation Services, responsible for a team of Engineers that order material, create installation specifications and manage the installation for all hardware and capacity augments installed in the Sprint Nextel network in an assigned region. Duties include: process documentation, training, workload management, hiring, firing and other HR related issues involved in a dynamic working environment. Principle Engineer: Accountable for producing strategic and tactical designs for wireless switching and related network elements by developing plans for network expansions based on Sprint wireless customer base. The analysis is not limited to switching components, but also backbone and interconnection facilities, DCCS, DSX, ATM, Intelligent Network Elements, Power Plant, Cell Site Traffic Channels, as well as floor plan engineering for growth and expansion. Responsible for engineering and managing the equipment capacity planning and hardware expansions for Puerto Rico market build out. This involved the purchase and project management of a microwave system for over two hundred wireless sites on the Puerto Rican and U.S. Virgin Islands. My responsibilities involved developing processes and tools for the Sprint Wireless Mobile Switching Center Engineering group. These processes involve practices and procedures that will line up and streamline the other departments in Sprint, newly acquired affiliate markets, and Nextel Engineering.

System Application Engineer: Responsible for creating engineering specifications for the DMS-100/200 hardware and software installations for assigned locations in the Bell Atlantic Network. This included all equipment associated to the line, trunk and network additions, as well as upgrades within the central office network. During this time, I also served as a member of a continual improvement team that focused on the overall engineering processes and engineering tools. While employed in this position I served as the Nortel Engineering Prime for the Bell Atlantic region.

Presidential Senior Radio Systems Engineer, Responsible for leading a team of up to twelve technicians in the installation, operation, and repair of various Voice and Data communication networks. These systems interface with various agencies in the White House Military Office including Air Force One, The National Military Command Center, US Secret Service, and other military command centers around the world. These networks consist of complex UHF (satellite and LOS), VHF, and HF systems. These systems would extend the telecommunications, data automation, and audiovisual networks that support the President and Vice President of the United States, the Secret Service, and the White House Staff.Work Center Supervisor: Combat Systems Electronics Division. Scheduled, supervised, and performed maintenance, and repair on shipboard communications systems such as: HF, UHF line of site, UHF SATCOM, NAVMACS, the AN/UYK 62 Mainframe computer system, and ancillary equipment. Installed and/or maintained electronic equipment such as: surface/air search radar, navigational equipment, Xerox copiers, cooling units, flight deck camera systems, and shipboard night vision systems. During this time, was responsible for the calibration and repair of all the shipboard general-purpose test equipment.
