Started work in pre-press performing preflight and minor customer file corrections using Adobe Creative Suite software as well as Creo-Scitex proprietary prepress workflow software.Familiarity with customers and their file requirements led to working with CD Replication customers in facilitating customer service needs and order fulfillment. This led from a position change from pre-press to handling customer service with CD Replication customers full time, culminating as Senior CSR for CD Replication clients.While working in Customer Service, designed and implemented switch from physical filing systems, for catalog and order system, to electronic (paperless) database system for quick and accurate past-order retrieval/entry. Also implemented paperless system for office workflow and Job Order Entry.From experience working with production and CD Replication packaging needs, took evening classes held by PIA-SC (Printing Industries Association - Southern California) in print estimating. Upon completion began estimating for minor CD Replication job requests.Finally moved to full time print estimating and packaging design. Laid out and designed the production process for manufacturing of all printing products from door hangers to perfect bind 200+ page count catalogs. Also began designing and working with outside die manufacturing vendors to create folding cartons and other packaging products as well as created design mock-ups and prototypes to facilitate sales agents in customer relations.
