Working on the Python Subsea Wellhead project, which is the first of its kind for the oil and gas industry.Taking the wellhead from initial build to qualification process.Involved with the testing and further enhancement of the well-known POS-Grip surface wellhead and various downhole tools.Teaching and educating other team members in rig up tests (pressure, tension, thermal and bend) and data acquisition (StrainDaq).

As a UKAS approved test laboratory I have to follow strict work instructions in order to complete jobs.Main Duties: Calibration of equipment and set up of test procedure using StrainDaq programe. Preparation of samples to be used during testing. Carry out testing using work instructions and procedures. Extract test data using StrainDaq program ready for report. Ensure clean equipment and tidy laboratory. Offshore Connection Testing- Premium connections, Well Head’s etc Hydrostatic testing to 45000 psi and nitrogen gas testing to 50000psi Calibration of pressure transducers, load cells and displacement transducers Load Testing-Includes Tension, compression and bending forces up to 2400TonsOffshore Service TechnicianMain duties: Running Oilstates Connections  Following work Instructions and procedures  Maintenance of all equipment
