Served as a leader in the daily management and operation of multiple medical-surgical inpatient environments to include Wounded Warriors at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Successfully led hospital units through multiple Joint Commission inspections with zero negative findings. Responsibilities included but not limited to: Assisting staff in providing patient care when needed, ensuring patient satisfaction, staff performance evaluations, participated in special projects, scheduling/staffing, payroll, supply chain management, biomedical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, monitoring the environment of care and promoting a culture of safety.

6 years of nursing experience across multiple hospital facilities; encompassing a variety of patient care services/disciplines; in both direct patient care and supervisory positions. Nominated and selected for the DAISY Award for exceptional nursing care while working on the wounded warrior floor of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Provided safe, high-quality, clinical bedside care under the supervision of a provider/RN to include, but not limited to: admission/discharge of patients, coordination of multi-disciplinary services, conducting treatments, medication administration, wound care, and medical documentation using EHR/EMR.
