I’m a solutions-oriented Utilities Leader with 17 years of experience in electrical distribution and gas line infrastructure installation, maintenance, and improvement projects. I’m a certified member of IBEW 51 and serve on the executive board. I have extensive knowledge of large-scale utility operations, trade skills, and construction equipment. I’m comfortable with fast-paced, rapidly changing environments. The best part of my day is solving problems and inspiring colleagues to do their best. The majority of my work is team-based and dangerous so trust and commitment play a big part in our success. My passion for organization and detail has given me the opportunity to take leadership roles, and I’ve been assigned to lead extensive projects in my operating group. I secure the right material and equipment, plan logistics and time management, and delegate tasks to ensure that the right person is assigned to the right work.Throughout my career, I've been lucky to be part of teams that have inspired me with their work ethic and collaboration. I lead by example and learned that having a game plan and being adaptable are the keys to success. I love the operations aspect, utilizing my construction skills, and being outside and in different locations. The industry is consistently changing since technology and demand grow faster every day. The best way to improve my skill set and acquire different experiences is to surround myself with good people. I enjoy the challenges that a strong leader tasks me with, but I also love coaching and mentoring others.My work keeps me on my toes, and it’s rewarding to see how much the utility industry affects everyone and how we can make it better.
