At YouGrow, we utilise Spotify, YouTube and TikTok to run effective promotional campaigns. Over the years we've built a network of independent playlist curators as well as successfully built relationships with high-profile labels in order to land playlist placements. We run campaigns for both independent artists and labels, and in the past we've ran campaigns for notable artists such as Tiesto, Clean Bandit and Lil Pump. The Spotify team consists of 18 spread across The Netherlands and New York and my key responsibilities include:• Managing the Spotify Promotion team to ensure the seamless process of receiving a campaign to landing the track on active and relevant playlists. • Developing and maintaining strategies in order to drive new business.• Working closely with labels and curators to maintain a good working relationship and easy pitching process.• Working with various CRM tools such as Salesforce and Monday.com to manage both our partners and clients. • Building and developing playlists through Facebook and TikTok ads.• Servicing YouGrow's label and independent clients as well as various other account management tasks. Working within the Music and Operations department at Epidemic Sound, my role included:• Creating and developing playlists and concepts towards various content objectives. • Quality control of the catalog and working closely with audio metadata to constantly improve user experience.• Maintain customer relationships and create reports using CRM tools such as Salesforce and PowerBI.• Perform music searches on request from external clients as well as internal departments.• Meet clients/editors to demo the ES player, educate and inspire everyone on how to find the right music for their needs.• Analyse music data and drive projects based on insights.• Tagging tracks and SFX.• Manage distribution of playlists in the ES Player.• Write engaging and appealing copy for playlist descriptions and other music-related areas.A few notable artists that were nurtured and developed through my time at Epidemic Sound include:• LUCHS• Hallman• Ooyy• Loving Caliber• Peter Sandberg

Key responsibilities included:• Having a complete understanding of Epidemic Sound’s business model and music licenses.• Effectively articulate Epidemic Sound’s unique selling points via phone/email communication, in personal meetings and networking events.• Present a compelling offering, negotiate price and generate trust with prospects and clients, in order to expand our client base.• Be an ambassador for Epidemic Sound in all aspects of the position.

Reporting to the Artistic Director, as Backstage Manager I was responsible for all backstage operations to ensure the smooth running and integrity of the performance, the installation and transportation of scenic equipment. Adaptability and ability to work on a variable schedule were key to this role.
