After graduating high school I attended Tulsa Welding School and worked multiple jobs including a warehouse attendant. I then worked as a production welder. During this time, I noticed the disconnect between the engineers and workers. The ability to understand the smallest task when in a higher position is why I went back to school. Engineers understanding the skills and requirements of workers they oversee promotes more communication and leads to better working environments, thus more efficiency in job completion. This is my personal goal as an engineer. Moreover, the ability to critically solve problems in exhaustive and hazardous environments is one of many outstanding attributes of mine. I played for TAMUs Rugby team were the fast pace and physicality demands decisions under extreme duress and is a skill I can bring to my professional career. I am a well rounded individual and have led or been a part of teams throughout my life working under different environments and areas of work. I wish to gain real field experience at all levels and become a reliable, trusted and respected engineer within my field and any related to it.
