Matt has 17 years of professional experience working in the fields of design, communications and project management.He has worked alongside a number of design agencies in the UK, Canada and New Zealand. These include Design Works, MPAD, ABG Design, Pique, Lemonade and Saatchi & Saatchi, as well as working in-house at the Design Council.Matt performs at his best when he is working on a project that he believes in. He has a passion for working with organisations that are trying to make a difference to individuals, the community or the world at large.Matt is also an associate lecturer at Falmouth University, a freelance sports coach and non-executive director at Promas CIC – a voluntary role he took on after working with the community interest company on their brand update and website.When not designing, Matt is also part of the training team with the RNLI – a role he has held for 18 years. On occasion, he can be travelling to developing countries to teach lifesaving skills, helping to reduce the global drowning rate. You might also see him lifeguarding a weekend shift on one of Cornwall’s beaches in the summer.He co-founded Gyllyngvase Surf Life Saving Club and was elected as chairman for 10 years, stepping down from the role in December 2018.
