Designed various construction projects ranging from high end custom residences, commercial spaces, pre-engineered metal building foundations, to interior renovations. Extensive drafting knowledge of both plans and details in AutoCAD. Responsible for design and analysis of structural framing elements (gravity and lateral design) made from wood, steel, concrete, and concrete masonry units (cmu). Designed the structural anchoring of various mechanical units to existing material types. Comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time with different due dates and timetables. Reviewed and approved submittals from subcontractors. Performed site visits prior to the design process to assess existing conditions and evaluated feasibility of renovation work.

Researched the improvement of certain building techniques carried out presently by EMI in the context of a developing country, Uganda. Worked alongside a multicultural, multilingualism design team towards a common goal. Participated in the design of an all-encompassing project including professionals in civil and structural engineering, architecture, and construction fields.

For two summers tested rock and asphalt in a laboratory setting to confirm that specifications set by the Washington State Department of Transportation were being met. Field tested during the asphalt paving process to ensure the necessary compaction was being met. Certified to transport and operate a nuclear density gauge in the state of Washington.

Resolved customer complaints and disputes on a daily basis. Cooperated with a variety of coworkers to keep a certain level of security across the park.
