• Managed all preventative and corrective maintenance for two ships 36 to 39 years old. Greatly reduced engineering discrepancies by an average of 32 percent and increased preventative maintenance completion by 21 percent through direct supervision and training of maintenance personnel.• Directly responsible for the preparation and oversight to complete 6 comprehensive maintenance periods (drydock and dockside) on two 140' Ice Breakers. • Project manager for two 14 month overhaul projects (Service life extension) to the CG 140’ Ice Breaker, each totaling $13M. • Responsible for identifying major deficiencies in newly installed shipboard Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System. Led engineering personnel to record and provide required data to untimely identify the system component deficiencies. Fleet wide retrofit to correct will result in $850K work item on 9 ships.• Oversaw the procurement, storage, preservation, and accounting practices for department inventory and repair parts including hazardous materials. • Prepared and maintained department budgets, training programs, machinery records, and personnel records, including performance reviews for entire department personnel.

• Supervised the engineering plant of a 270’ multi-mission ship. Directly responsible for the oversight of all machinery operations, including the recording of parameters, responding to emergencies including flooding and fires, and oversaw the successful operation of cranes and other weight handling equipment. • Responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance of Propulsion, Electrical, Auxiliary equipment including two 2500 HP propulsion engines, three 475 kW generators, switchboards, and weight handling equipment. • Oversaw the procurement, storage, preservation, and accounting practices for department inventory and repair parts including hazardous materials. • Prepared and maintained department budgets, training programs, machinery records, and personnel records, including performance reviews for department personnel.

• Supervised the engineering plant operation of 7 ships ranging from 87’ to 270’ and 8 boats ranging from 17’ to 47’. • Performed complex inspections on 2500 HP propulsion engines of 1800 ton ship. Identified, prioritized and completed repairs including complex manufacturer updates to engine components.• Expertly maintained three 475 kW generators for reliable use as primary and emergency power supply and for generation of low pressure steam through waste heat recovery. • Executed a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule for increased dependability of main propulsion and auxiliary support equipment.• Supervised up to 8 maintenance department personnel.

• Performed routine servicing of customers vehicles to include oil changes, tire rotations and replacement, alignments, brake services, minor engine repairs and leak correction. Consistently sought out to perform complex accessory installations requiring extreme care and caution. • Assisted in completion of advanced repairs to diesel engines and heavy duty trucks, including drive train repairs and warranty recalls.
