Flight Coordination and planning for a Part 91 flight department. Manage logistics for trips taken in the Georgetown Management fleet, which consists of a Bombardier Global & Challenger jet, two Airbus Helicopters EC-135's, a Cessna Caravan amphibian, and two Beaver float-planes. Complete trip planning, domestic and international; including crew and aircraft arrangements at all destinations, ensuring that any needed permits for aircraft and crew are acquired. Record weather, NOTAMS, file flight plans, actively flight follow, and ensure that all flights are operated in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and managing all contract flight crew. Work daily with aircraft support/service providers, international handlers, fixed base operators, contract fuel providers, caterers, and ground transportation providers. Manage and update flight crew training program, including maintaining complete and accurate records of medical exams, passports, training records, etc.Ensure that aircraft have all applicable permits and licenses, including SELCAL, FCC Radio Station Licenses, NOAA transponder registrations, and CBP Decals. Manage warranty/maintenance programs, including GE OnPoint, Rolls Royce Corporate Care, and Honeywell MSP. Manage EU-ETS compliance. Ensure that aircraft are properly monitored, and that the company complies with relevant EU carbon emissions regulations.Ensure that newly acquired aircraft are operated to take full advantage of California tax exemptions. Manage all documentation and consult with aircraft owner to ensure that all tax benefits are fully taken advantage of, saving $3 million in CA taxes on Global XRS purchase in 2014.Manage SBA hangar facility. Oversaw total office and workshop space renovation in 2014. Responsible for transforming the hangar into a world class facility for corporate flight operations.
