I designed and inspected municipal sewer, water, and storm drainage infrastructure in multiple states in New England. I performed hydrological calculations of multiple design storms for multi-acre water sheds and dam spillway remediation projects. I supported construction management with financial review of contractor payrolls and unit pricing of materials.

Seabrook, New Hampshire, United States

I led and performed daily Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) and Building Deformation inspections on structures at the Seabrook, NH nuclear power plant. I analyzed the data that was gathered and wrote technical reports on the findings to monitor certain areas within the plant. I spear-headed a system of analyzing the forward projection of the ASR within the concrete structures of the plant in order to redirect our inspection focus on areas that were seeing an increase in structurally detrimental activity.

Kansas City, Missouri Area

I led and assisted in multi-million dollar transportation design projects for Class 1 railroads and US state and federal entities. My railroad design experience encompasses mainline track, industrial intermodal yards, railroad bridges, and catchment and retaining walls protecting railroads using AutoCAD and Microstation. A key achievement of my time with Hanson is my lead role in designing 113 American Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps in Elgin and Chicago, Illinois. I successfully drove work to completion for this project with multiple colleagues to finish on time and thousands of dollars under budget. I also became the company's SME (subject-matter expert) on extracting Lidar survey data using TopoDOT software.

Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area

At Duke Energy, I worked in the Coal Combustion Products sector, specializing in geotechnical analysis of dams, berms, and other earthen embankments. I also performed critical piezometer and dam seepage inspections and bid analyses for multi-million dollar construction projects, along with readiness reviews and project walk downs. I have assisted in design reviews and project management for earthen embankments, concrete structures, and piping force mains, including sumps and pumps.

Pilot Mountain, North Carolina

During my construction tenure with J.R. Lynch & Sons, I made project bids along with construction cost analyses and sub-contractor billing updates for multi-million dollar projects. My construction experience has allowed me to gain a worker's perspective of field installation of engineering designs.
