Counsellor - Facilitator - Coach
CurrentI have had a wide range of jobs over the years, including: cook; English teacher in Japan; carpenter; postman; shiatsu practitioner; substance misuse worker working with homeless people; manager in the charity sector; and fundraiser. Currently I earn money as a consultant in the charity sector, as a counsellor working with young people and through running men’s gatherings in wild places. My approach counselling, coaching and facilitation is person centre, in that the one being coached leads the process, while also being open to the unexpected and the mysterious which often arises and informs the direction which the work takes. I am passionate about sustainable living and the outdoors and I enjoy catalysing community projects that change the way we relate, to each other, and to all the other-than-human beings who share our planet. Recently I co-founded Everything is Connected (a journey into dance and community) and started a men’s group in Frome.
