Working with Dr. Emanuel Indrei, an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Kennesaw State University, to study patterns of polygons generated by The Polya-Szego Conjecture and model these patterns using MATLAB. This problem was previously solved using methods from Tensor Calculus, however, this research project aims to discover a more simple solution using methods from Euclidean and Vector Geometry.

The Fabrication Head is responsible for overseeing the overall mechanical construction of the robot. Before the competition season starts, the head is expected to teach newer members how to use the various tools avaliable to them, while also going over safety guidelines on how to use these tools safely. The team as a whole has been extremely successful in previous years. Most recently, the Techno Titans had their most successful season yet. Not only was the robot extremely competitive, but the team was also recognized for their efforts in commuity outreach and spreading the STEM values to younger audiences. The team’s robot competed in the World Championships in 2023 and 2024, with 2024 being especially successful with the team being in the top 100 for overall scoring worldwide.

At FIRST Robotics Competition, the technician is the a resource for robot troubleshooting and maintenance and is also responsible for setting up the robot before a match and retrieving it from the field after a match has concluded. Technicians must be able to work under high stakes environments and be able to fix any issues in a timely manner. Matthew has had experience as Technician at 5 different competitions, including the World Championship in Houston, TX.

The President is responsible for being the face of the entire club, communicating with members, and overseeing the rest of the Leadership team to make the club successful. Science Olympiad is an organization that allows for students to compete in a variety of science related events. These events could cover topics such as biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and inquiry. Northview has been successful in Science Olympiad for many years now, consistently placing in the top 8 at the State Championship.

The Outreach Officer is responsible with staying active on the team's social media accounts and reaching out to local schools in the area to help with their Science Olympiad teams.The Build Event Captain is responsible for overseeing the progress of the Build Events. Build Events involve designing a solution to a challenge presented at the beginning of the season. The captain makes sure that members who are participating in these events are on track to be successful at competition.
