Worked with Assistant District Attorneys to prepare for felony cases being brought to trial. Listened to recordings of conversations between defendants being held in County Jail in an effort to retrieve more evidence for trial. Prepared documents for discovery purposes and also wrote responses to various motions from opposing counsel. Conducted legal research on pertinent issues that arose during the course of trial and found relevant case law that could be brought to the attention of the court. Watched multiple trials beginning with Mapp, Huntley & Dunaway hearings and ending with the verdict being delivered by the jury.
