Senior Accounting Clerk with a primary focus on accounts receivables functions and occasionally with accounts payable functions. Functions include the following.Posting and reconciling the day to day cash deposits.Performing collection activates for outstanding AR balances by working with an AR aging report.Processing credit card payments in strict confidentiality. Determining credit limits and credit holds for customer accounts. Assisting with month end close process by preparing bank reconciliation reports and investigation posting discrepancies. Submitting payment for company credits cards.Creating journal entries for various types of transactions.Answering calls and emails relating to accounts receivables and other miscellaneous accounting functions.Assisting in the returns process by creating RMAs, issuing credits, and filing damaged claims.These tasks were primarily done in Sales/Financial Force. Recently went through a ERP system change to Prelude ERP, making sure all the functions done in previous ERP system can be performed in the new ERP system. Has been working remotely since March of 2020.
