Over the past few years I've developed a passion for startup and growth stage software companies. Building something new and bringing solutions to the table that can affect growth is a very satisfying feeling.I first discovered my passion for implementing systems about 9 years ago working as a labourer at a light manufacturing facility. I always had a thought in my mind that there had to be a better way for every task I performed. Slowly I worked with the owner on improving their processes to increase productivity and the quality of our product. I questioned everything from the location of a piece of machinery to the way our product moved through the assembly line. I researched new tools available to the industry and experimented with new methods on improving processes during downtime. We developed online ordering capabilities. We upgraded machinery and work stations to allow for less strenuous work and faster completion of our product. I figured out new ways to salvage damaged product and reduced costs while improving quality. With the support of a great owner and the team there we accomplished a lot of improvements.I've taken this knowledge into the software world where new technologies and methods are always being shared. I've successfully pushed new functionality down the pipeline and implemented nearly a dozen new software solutions that integrate with each other.
