Advised sales if customer supplied was effective to reproduce on photopolymer printing plates, as well as, quoted the cost printing plates needed to reproduce the artwork. Once an order was received, customer artwork is edited to meet APPI's printing press restrictions. Proofed layouts with company tolerances and adjustments made to increase the print quality. (Heavy up reversed letters, larger color trap, Increase type size.) Created purchase orders for local flexography platemakers with specific instructions on how the printing plates should be made. (plate thickness, relief, centerlines, microdots). Signed off on press side samples of print for all new orders. (checked accuracy of Pantone colors, artwork, print quality)

Operated conversion equipment that cut, sealed, and opened poly bags from extruded rolls of film. Worked with various types of plastic film including: High Density (HD), Printed, Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Reproduction (Repro), and Mailer film. Promoted to Pre-Press Graphic Designer within and year of employment.
