At 35, I am looking to build a solid foundation for a career in Project Management.I have lived and breathed customer service since I was 16 years old, working in customer-facing roles before progressing through the ranks. Now I manage a team of people delivering the standard of customer service I believe customers deserve. Communication and problem-solving are key in the roles I have worked in and are a key part of who I am today, but like the world around us, change is inevitable. With that, I am focused on developing other areas of my skill set and looking to embark on a journey I didn’t see coming until recently. Looking back at what I enjoyed about my role for the last 3 years & have decided to focus on the project rather than the people.I am always looking to push myself outside of my comfort zone to achieve the best results, and even if there are a few bumps in the road ahead I am positive change will make me the best version of myself. With all the changes to my work life, I am also focused on changing habits I have lived by for many years with a focus on my health and fitness also being at the forefront of my mind. As they say every little helps, and while I have been focused on looking after myself, I have realised this couldn’t be truer. I would love to connect and build bridges into the world of project management, any advice, hints or tips would be most welcome as I move into the next stage of my working life.
