Matthew Webster is the team lead responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Service, Parts, and Warranty departments in a Nissan dealership. Working with the management team, Matthew's role is to increase profitability by identifying and removing barriers that impede the growth of the service, parts, and warranty staff he supervises. Matthew is responsible for maintaining the customer and service standards established by Nissan Canada throughout the dealership along with the health and safety of the employee's by constantly improving the overall condition and operation of the store. Matthew's focus towards customer satisfaction and customer retention have allowed him to elevate the entire team he supports and ultimately increase the performance of his department.

Operations Assistant Store Managers (OAMs) are responsible for driving sales, customer service, associate development, store profitability, in-stock, and store appearance. They oversee all operational areas of the store (e.g., Back End, Front End, Inventory Management and Back Office). They are responsible for executing core programs and strategies to improve customer service, in-stock, and store appearance. OAMs play a crucial role in driving safety standards and environmental compliance throughout the store by executing the company's Handling Hazardous Materials, Recycling, and Environmental Programs. In addition they drive profitability through expense management, shrink mitigation, and overall operational efficiency in all areas of the store. OAMs execute processes, solve problems through partnership, and develop leaders within operational departments. OAMs work closely with the SM and District Operations Manager.

I am working within the management team to assess and implement strategies that improve both process and profit across a broad range of aftermarket products. My knowledge and interpersonal skill set have aided me in achieving the Nissan Club Excellence Award for 2010 which measures Business Managers in various categories including customer satisfaction, profit per transaction, and volume of sales per month.

Through the use of the consultative sales process, I guided prospective clients through the purchasing process from start to finish with attention to detail. I interviewed clients, conducted product demonstrations, managed price negotiations, arranged financing, and presented after sale products. My ability to highlight products and features that specifically appealed to my diverse clientele allowed me to succeed and become a valuable member of my department and the entire organization.

There are 12 Residence Advisors, and 4 Community Advisors who live within the building, located strategically throughout each floor. Each RA/CA is responsible for making sure that each student feels a part of the residence community. They facilitate programs that enhance the educational component of the College, as well as community building and social awareness programs. Ultimately, they act as a resource and referral agent for residents, and a role model of positive behaviour. They monitor the students in their area and offer guidance and resources when appropriate. In some cases, they report incidents that require discipline to the Student Life Manager. They also are expected to engage the students and ensure that each individual is made to feel a part of the community in which they live for the semester/year.
