About Matthew Weilert
Resolving technical debt within your organization has the same exponential (number-of-zeros) positive impact as the difference between steaming your veggies and boiling them. Some kitchen science fun: 1g of steam can transfer more than 5 times the energy that 100g of boiling water can, by condensing what is called the “latent heat of vaporization.”Tally this up: 5x100 = 500 times more effective than typical organizational practices. Yes, our secret sauce tastes great, yet 500 times less filling than your current fully burdened overhead costs, especially the sunk costs of recruiting! Resolving your technical debt, “condenses that steam” in your teams, so they can truly deliver more value. If you believe in the periodic table, these solutions are just physics… For STEM folks: https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/827672/why-is-steaming-food-faster-than-boiling-it||||| ||||| ||||| Gary's insights and plain-spoken approach are worth re-reading time & again! https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/built-last-beware-what-you-read-gary-hoover/||||| ||||| ||||| Matt is an internationally experienced innovator adding tangible value with insights proven across industries as varied as: • automotive, • aviation, • defense, • education, • finance, • global food brands, • healthcare, • software development, • nuclear power, • R&D culture. Imagine a world where the chance of another BP environmental catastrophe, another Challenger tragedy, another Food Supply Chain Safety debacle, another Enron, and another and another and another disaster wasn't just left up to “the experts” to solve—and prevent, but the risks and conditions leading up to those risks were rationally considered in the naked light of the noonday sun. We've taught the Systemkey™ Risk Intelligence framework to people from Down Under to DC and the comments always seem to revolve around one thing: “The Thing That Keeps CEOs Awake at Night.” Visit http://is.gd/2peSQ3 for our free whitepaper. At the end of 2010, a brilliant young attorney named David Kavanaugh (of AndrewsKurth) imagined a better world. I was gifted to be the sponsor of that vision David caught. Through our 2011 appeal, “Imagine Risk Transformed” you have a chance to capture that vision as well.As the Executive Director of the STETA Group and chief storyteller for the Systemkey™ Risk Intelligence framework, I lead university, medical and military networks of leaders to the simple truth that you can believe in better results than what 2010 would lead you to believe. You CAN bring the WHOLE brain of your WHOLE workforce to bear on the global challenges we face. STETA is a Texas-based non-profit business league [IRS 501(c)6] serving the global community of enterprise-level members who are committed to achieving the quantum improvements in risk intelligence required to avoid future horrific disasters like those that have scarred our collective psyche. Thank you for sharing this vision with those you care about. Let’s get to work!
