Maintained Cisco network including HSRP 6509's, several 4500's and 3750's globally as well as locally. Also responsible for ensuring Windows 2003 - 2008R2 were security patched, rebooted on a specific schedule and swapped out on time per lease requirement. Additionally, I was closely involved in Global Active Directory standardization, developing, following and validating specific DNS, Domain and OU designs were implemented across the world. I was also responsible for designing, planning and implementation of VMware 4.X at my location which supports approximately 500 users. This involved migration of approximately 25 pieces of H/W down to two larger systems; thereby decreasing management and cost of support overall, while also decreasing physical environment requirements and carbon footprint.

Responsible for day to day support of approximately 120 users in-house and 60 remote field sales employees. Other responsibilities included end user device replacement, including data migration, and training on new equipment and how to use. I hosted several "lunch n' learns" which were geared towards technologies currently in use and how to utilize them more efficiently. Sessions such as, Lotus Notes Calendaring, Getting Connected from home, and Using conference room equipment were just a few examples of the types of sessions I conducted. I also traveled quite a bit with our sales team. This involved setting up of an automated ordering system that would allow representatives to take orders directly from dental professionals and schools from the conference booths and input them into our back-end system for processing that same night; expediting their orders and giving our management the ability to report on sales $'s at the conclusion of each convention day.
