Special Education Kindergarten Teacher

• Implement individual behavior plans with individual rewards • Provide differentiated instruction on daily lessons • Use positive behavioral supports to maintain students behaviors regularly • Accompany students to general education classes/specials to oversee behaviors and academic performance • Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors and administration on a daily basis regarding students behaviors and performance in mainstream and self-contained setting

K-5 Self Contained BD Teacher • Implement individual behavior plans with individualized rewards • create lesson plans that address students IEP goals and objectives • collaborate with general education teachers on daily lessons and units to implement expected expectations into classroom • Differentiated instruction according to student ability and skill level• Assessed and monitored progress for SGO, report cards, and IEPs

Teacher assistant in 6-8 Behavior Disability Self Contained Classroom • Teach fifth through eighth grade subjects while classroom teacher teaches other subjects to different grade levels • Help to create classroom lessons using differentiated instruction• Help assess and monitor goals and objectives • Accompany students to general education classes/specials to oversee behaviors and academic performance

• Conduct daily lesson plans in core content areas (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) in small group setting using the Common Core Standards.• Create multisensory lessons • Modify lessons daily when necessary • Facilitate lessons using differentiated instruction • Implement Apple iPad’s through core content areas for additional practice of material
