About Matthew Wolfe

I am the VP of Business Development for Icetec Energy Services. Icetec has developed over 20 years world class technology that uses A.I. to optimize energy assets, both Behind the Meter (BTM) and in Front of the Meter (FTM). We use home-grown predictive analytics to reduce a site's energy and carbon as well as bid both distributed and utility scale assets in NE ISO, PJM, and NY ISO. We focus on battery storage (BESS), combined heat and power (CHP), and a software platform that dispatches on-site assets to lower GHG emissions.I am also the Managing Partner at Next Grid Markets, a Cambridge, MA-based company focused on developing and optimizing distributed generation assets such as solar PV, energy storage, and CHP. Privately held and run by a small team of engineers and economists, Next Grid has grown to over 80 accounts, including major university, hospital and Fortune 500 clients. Our business model is providing services and solutions for our customers on a shared savings model that generate economic returns while driving energy efficiency, adoption of renewable and alternative energy technologies, and enhanced resiliency.
