Lead the development of Innergex’s Sustainability Reporting and ESG strategy: build a clear narrative that promotes transparency, accuracy and adherence to internationally recognized standards. Measure, track and report environmental, social and governance metrics in a consistent, transparent and accurate manner in line with recognized reporting frameworks SASB, CDP, TCFD and UNSDGs.Technical knowledge of GHG accounting in alignment with the GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2 and 3 standards to ensure accurate and timely collection and delivery of an entity's GHG profile.Collaborate with a myriad of internal departments, businesses, regions, and teams to identify and collect specific metrics and real-world data that reflect the company’s performance against key strategic priorities and goals.Identify opportunities to expand disclosures and promote best practices in sustainability to improve performance.Align company leaders to use that data to tell a consistent, compelling ESG story to employees, investors and other stakeholders.Manage ESG engagement with external ratings agencies (MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, Fitch, S&P CSA, Vigeo-Eiris, and Bloomberg).Promote a culture that champions the environmental and social benefits of sustainable practices.Monitoring national and international regulatory changes to ensure the most up-to-date standards are being implemented in disclosures.
