CJ2X Counterintelligence Operations Officer serving as government oversight for contract screening and vetting operations, investigated Green on Blue incidents, and was the primary point of contact for subject matter expertise, guidance and advice to Senior U.S. Military and Coalition leadership regarding counterintelligence operations and support to force protection within the Afghanistan Theater of Operations.

Lead CI Analyst directly supporting Division CI requirements, inter-organizational CI analytical coordination, and production analysis. Assist and advise organizational leadership in collection resources and collection planning for future force operations. Supported the identification and mitigation of Green on Blue threats to Coalition Forces through advanced analytical techniques and tools. Manage collection reporting databases; fusing All-Source, HUMINT, and CI reporting to enable tactical targeting as well as strategic theater planning decisions.

I planned, coordinated, and provided direction for Counterintelligence (CI) operations in support of Marine Special Operations teams and US Army SFODA teams. I managed and mentored ten US Army and civilian CI Agents, three analysts, and ten Category 2 linguists in all CI collections, interviews, and biometric enrollments. I supervised and was responsible for quality control of over 950 individual CI interviews, and 600 biometric enrollments that resulted in over 50 identified potential threats. I mentored critical relationships with Afghan counterparts in English and in Persian Dari.

I trained and mentored over thirty US Army Intelligence personnel as they prepared for a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Special Operations Forces. I coordinated and arranged group and individual training throughout. I regularly monitored day-to-day progress for individual soldiers and their families as they worked through the deployment and training processes. I worked and liaised with organizational leadership to include General Officers and VIPs. As a result, all personnel in my organization were a first-time GO in their training tasks, the first ever organization to do this with the state training command.

I trained hundreds of Active Duty and Reserve Component soldiers in Interpersonal Skills for HUMINT Collectors, Military Source Operations, Report Writing for HUMINT Collectors, HUMINT Immersion Scenario - Afghanistan, Operational Management Team Course and Certification- FORMICA, GRRIP Deployment and Operation and SSO Functions. I coordinated and conducted training independently and as a training team. I worked as a team to develop the Operational Management Team Courseware and Certification - FORMICA, and GRRIP Deployment and Operation Course. I was an Operational Controller/Mentor for Panther Strike -June 2012 and multiple HUMINT Immersion Scenario courses.

I planned and conducted dozens of HUMINT operations as a team leader, on base and in the local area. I performed liaison with US and Iraqi forces, team and interpreter management, analysis, report writing, and report management. I trained and supervised training of dozens of Iraqi Police and Iraqi Army elements in Human Intelligence Tasks. My team was the most active HUMINT Team in the region, providing more reports and information than other teams.

I led the culminating phase and the Field Training Exercise (FTX) for soldiers re-classing to the Army HUMINT occupational specialty. Throughout all phases of the HUMINT course, I trained and mentored hundreds of Army National Guard and Army Reserve re-class soldiers in a classroom environment and one-on-one. I created and conducted the course material for the final FTX portion of the 35M10 course. I was responsible for courseware development and refinement.

I conducted Counterintelligence/HUMINT Operations to include: Threat and Vulnerability Assessments, security advising, analysis, and report writing. I conducted threat and security assessments of Camp Phoenix, Kandahar Airfield, Kabul Military Training Center, the Kabul Ministry of Information, and the Kabul Ministry of Defense.
