I am a scientist with the Sigma division of Los Alamos National Laboratory. I specialize in thermal-mechanical modeling, casting and solidification of metals, harsh environment instrumentation, and experimental equipment design. I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines where I focused on computational solid mechanics and solidification modeling. I am a registered E.I.T. in the state of Illinois, and hold a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MS in Technology Management from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
