I am an enthusiastic and engaged Civil CAD Technician based out of Buffalo, New York. I have been working in the Civil Engineering industry since 2015, after changing my career path from a focus on architecture. While my official title is the CAD Technician for my firm, I have eagerly studied and learned various Civil Engineering principles and foundations. I spearhead Distribution Waterline Design for the company, and assist with roadway, and traffic management design. I was offered the position of Network Administrator for the firm, having a solid understanding and the dedication to deploy, solve, fix, and service various network infrastructure items that allow the firm to succeed in our day-to-day operations - be that on-site or remote technologies. Through my work, I came to volunteer for Buffalo Engineering Awareness for Minorities (BEAM), a local not-for-profit outreach who engages with underserved students of the Buffalo Community to engage them with engineering principles. While I initially volunteered with BEAM as a teacher for one of their Saturday Academy programs, I was later asked to join the public relations committee, and would ultimately be offered the position of Social Media Coordinator for BEAM. It is truly an exceptional pleasure to serve my community from multiple facets, be that from public infrastructure design at DiDonato, to the public outreach mission of BEAM.
