I developed the programs to migrate Mindalign customers to OCS during this timeframe. I architected the first Microsoft Enterprise Voice deployments over 10K users during this time.

Parlano MindAlign was an extensible persistent chat solution heavily used in Financial Services. My role as a SA was focused on systems design and integration of Mindalign with customers' existing IT environments and processes. Responsible for solution and project design, customer readiness & training and leadership of change management activity. Led a robust developer community across Parlano's customer base who built solutions to integrate line of business applications and processes into Mindalign to help users stay in the flow of work. Parlano was acquired by Microsoft at the end of 2007 and Mindalign integrated as the persistent chat capability in OCS, evolving to Teams.

At Jabber (now Cisco,) I held roles in Professional Services, Software Engineering, Sales and Technology Leadership. Developed and drove adoption of XMPP standards. In Federal & Public Sector I led XMPP standardization (published in DISR) through advocacy and participation in DoD standards bodies and agency/command implementations. I worked with Google to drive adoption of XMPP in Google Talk. I also drove early adoption of XMPP IM & group chat technologies in Financial Services.
