This is a senior role in the Analytics & Treasury team, within QIC Real Estate's Funds Management division. This role is critical for managing data modelling and analysis to proactively produce actionable insights for senior leadership members within Funds & Investment Management teams. In this role I autonomously manage both creation, expansion and maintenance of key Investment performance models within both Microsoft Excel and Anaplan. These models are required for client reporting & asset management, as well as utilising available input data to complete bespoke analysis and new insights.

This role is a member of the Analytics team, within QIC Real Estate's Funds Management division. The catalyst for moving into this role was the development and implementation of a system for QIC to manage impacts of COVID-19 amongst circa 4,000 tenants across Australia. My work on establishing and managing this system resulted in a nomination for the 2020 Frank Lowy Fellowship and additionally receiving recognition through QIC’s CEO Outstanding Achievement Award. In this role I also work with Funds Management and Investment Management stakeholders across QIC with forecasting, strategy and analysis. As QIC's Master Anaplanner I’m driving the QIC Real Estate division transition to Anaplan as a key planning and analysis tool.

QIC's Grand Central Shopping Centre is located in Toowoomba, Queensland. The Grand Central redevelopment project was a $500m investment by Queensland Investment Corporation to create the largest shopping destination within the Darling Downs region. Key features of the development plans included:• Increase in size to approximately 90,000m² GLA, an expansion of around 45,000m²• A two-level retail galleria linking to the former Gardentown Shopping Centre• 160 new specialty retailers with a focus on Australian and International brands• New dining precincts• An additional 2000 car parks• New Major tenants H&M, Kmart, Big W and Woolworths• 1500 jobs created in the construction process with a local employment target of 75%• Approx. 1000 more retail jobs available once stores start tradingIn this role I was part of the core leasing team reporting to the Project Leasing Manager and was responsible for sourcing and securing tenants in-line with the intended mix and commercial intentions of the business. Additionally I utilised knowledge of the Toowoomba region & previous experience with the Grand Central asset to contribute to development strategy discussion, driven by the Investment Management team.
