Lanex is a Hartland, Wisconsin-based software development known for its creative solutions to business problems through custom software. We have worked in most industries and have extensive experience helping startups and existing businesses bring new software products to market. Field to Freezer(r) is a SaaS service that provides customers with a comprehensive database of Wild Game and Custom Cuts processors and their offerings, a patented App, and a streamlined ordering and fulfillment process for meat processors. In addition to these capabilities, we will introduce features to connect small harvest and artisan farmers and ranchers with meat processors to make their animals available to consumers.We are a graduate of gBeta, a program of gener8tor, and have been listed in the "20 Wisconsin Startups to watch in 2020" by AmericanInno. Computech was a Milwaukee-based sole proprietorship, where I developed custom database applications, provided network installation and support, PC repair and installations, and other consulting efforts. Customers came from a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, accounting services, churches, home health/nursing care, and retail. Computech was a Novell reseller during most of its existence, and was an early website development company. Computech was rolled into the establishment of Lanex, LLC.

At Smartlinc, I was involved in the development of custom software to aid in the integration of host systems with shipping and logistics solutions. This included RF technologies, custom labeling, bills-of-lading, and other carrier-compliant interfaces.

At Visions MultiMedia, I had the priviledge of providing interactive development services for a number of large customers in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas. Development services included dynamic web page development using idc/htx files (predecessor to ASP), Javascript, and HTML. Other development work included Authorware development on sales agent training material.

While at Video Images, I had the priviledge of working with a variety of visual database projects, including the development of a visual database project for a major parts distributor for a large retailer that enabled them to eliminate 25,000 square feet of warehouse space, using an optical disk jukebox. Other projects included visual database construction for a Chicago-based casting agency, and People's Energy. Other notable projects included development work on the Chicago 911 system and AMX and Crestron programming projects for a number of video conferencing and boardroom systems, including one award-winning project for the Milwaukee location of a large food services company.

My work at Sales Search included some early 4GL programming on a software package matching job orders to applications, and, a number of early database initiatives.
