Public Relations SpecialistNolde Forest Education Center Sep 2005 - Sep 2006My task was to create a complete public relations package.I began by conducting an independent study of the grounds, hiking the Nolde trails and carefully snapping pictures that I believed exhibited the finest qualities of the forest.I then utilized the Nolde Library and local historical centers to dig as deeply into the history of the location as possible. Through these resources I was able to trace the history of the original Nolde settlers all the way back to their German roots.From their I streamlined the information and pictures I had gathered and created a series of brochures, fact sheets, advertisement pieces, business cards, and flyers. Each piece highlighted a different valuable asset that Nolde offered, from its Tudor styled mansion to its various hiking trails. Ultimately I created a public relations package that could be sent out piece by piece, or altogether as a comprehensive folder.

Furthermore, I was one of three panelists to visit the Harrisburg NAACP Conference and conduct a presentation/Q&A on our findings during the writing of this book.
