Responsible for administering web services, consulting department web masters on deployment, campus policies, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, e.g., Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act; managing network security; managing twelve instructional and research computer labs; researching and administering course and learning management systems; managing college property; and providing Tiers I-III support. Represented the college in campus-wide IT meetings and collaborated with other divisions on large projects.Key AchievementsDirected development of web application to manage inventory, which simplified annual inventories and allowed department chairs to have instant access to resources.Replaced aging hardware with fewer new servers with greater computing and storage capacity to reduce power consumption and cooling requirements.
