Managing a busy sales team in one of Qatar’s largest readymix companies, producing some 500,000m3 per annum. In addition to my sales management duties I was also responsible for managing the credit management function and shipping office. During my time I increased the company gross margin without sacrificing volume, improve the truck utilisation and shipping efficiency and reduced the number of overdue payments.

Wrote and implemented the strategic sales plan which increased the selling price of washed sand by 25% and profit per cubic metre by 166%. Proposed a plan to increase the productivity of the sand washing plants by 81% without any additional cost and producing an extra 23% of saleable material. RMX - Average Selling Price increased by 2.64% per m3.

Oversee the day to day management of the readymix operations in Al Khobar and Jubail.

Managed the Sales and Marketing department, accounts department and shipping office. Ensured volume and profit objectives were achieved in line with the company strategy.
