I acted as point of contact for small accounts teams based also in Newcastle and Manchester divisions and had to combine the reporting of each division and implement a group cash flow forecast and annual budgeting system to manage the cash crises. Became department accountant after a series of departures at senior level and was heavily involved in due diligence process when Victor Kiam led a rights issue to stabalise the company finances. After the rights issue, working closely with the new FD we were able to take back control of the debtors ledger from factors, and implement a new ERP system to manage the company going forward. Thanks to the successful implementation we were able to reduce the accounts department from 12 people to 6. I managed all aspects of accounts, payroll, credit control, bought ledger and all forecasting. Show less
