The focus of my career is to help as many people as I can in as meaningful a way as possible. This is the reason I became an engineer. Engineers solve human problems. Global society faces many problems which require changes in technology, social positions, and government policy. I intend to apply my drive, knowledge, critical thinking, experience, leadership ability, and other talents to these problems in whatever avenue I discover to be the most efficient. This is also the reason I became a lawyer. The technology exists, we just need the right polices and to cut the red tape to implement them. My focus is on deployment of renewable energy, storage, distribution, transmission, and efficiency.I attended Vermont Law School (VLS) (Now Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS)) and earned a Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in Energy Law. In my first summer at VLS I worked as an intern at Wolf-Pac, a political action committee advocating for a constitutional convention to get money out of politics and ensure economic capture no longer steers politics towards energy based self-harm. In my second year at VLS I joined the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law (VJEL) as a staff editor and the Institute for Energy and the Environment (IEE) as a student clinician. My Second summer I worked for the Public Utility Law Project of New York (PULP) advocating for low-income utility customers struggling with massive COVID arrears and equitable energy transition investments. In my final year at VLS (now Vermont Law & Graduate School (VLGS)) I worked as an advanced clinician at the IEE and a senor staff production editor with VJEL. I passed the Bar Exam and became a licensed Vermont attorney in 2023.My most recent engineering experience involved quality engineering of a software as as service. Prior to that I worked ensuring wireless software and hardware quality for consumer electronics including mesh networking and regulatory compliance via continuous integration automation. In addition, I used near real-time telemetry and diagnostic data to identify and characterize customer issues and uncover correlations to improve wireless system stability and performance.
