Founding Director of company specialising in IT Service Management.The company was formed from a passion in Microsoft Technologies and extensive experience in ITSM disciplines. Bringing these together has resulted in a practice that designs and implements the System Center suite, particularly Service Manager and automation to provide an integrated framework. Through these tools we deliver management framework for IT infrastructure fabric in a dynamic manner along with the traditional ITSM applications fully integrated.

I am a Non-Executive Director of AssessmentPortal which I initially incubated the technology inside Planwell. AssessmentPortal stepped out when stable and is building a global presence and reseller network for the automated assessment portal based technology now independantly.

As the Managing Director I had all the usual responsibilities you would expect of that position and maintained a hands on role.Planwell under my leadership established a leading status to be arguably the largest independent ITSM specialist in the region employing over 150 staff at its peak. Dealing in Remedy, SDE & Service Now over its time it was the largest partner practice in the region for BMC Software. Planwell also established a specialised ITIL consulting practice.Planwell was built from the ground up over 10 years, selling into an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2001 - the goal was 10 years. It successfully listed with several other companies as a consortium on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: CTC). I executed a Management Buy Out (MBO) taking Planwell back to a Private Status after two years, positioned for growth and then executed several acquisitions maintaining an aggregate 20% growth rate year on year and expanded into two other countries (NZ & Philippines).

Worked as a part time lecturer (Evenings) for the Electrical Engineering College of Meadowbank and Hornsby TAFE Colleges between two to three nights a week to develop my presentation skills. I taught subjects in the following as part of the EE Advanced Certicate Course (IT stream); This also involved developing the sylabus, preparing lectures & exams, delivery & marking. My classes were also sold by TAFE to commercial organisations such as Lanier whom I trained their service staff on IT readying for the "Smart Generation" copiers. Served an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering doing my Mech. Eng. College at night part time. Gained my Engineering Trade Certificate completing both. Stayed on and became heavily involved in the early CAD systems which led me into IT and writing Engineering Software, Office Automation, Financial Accounting & Project Job Costing. Used Languages such as C, 4GL/SQL. Began an IT Degree part time and became the IT Manager reporting to the Managing Director (David Norman) responsible for the IT direction and strategy for all facets of IT across the 9 offices at the time with support staff reporting to me. When I started my business NDY invested in me as a financial backer of which I bought out after several years.
