Now been in IT now for 30 years with experience from pure Engineering to Management. I have always had a technical style and a hands on approach with technology and business. I believe it important to intimately understand the technology you are dealing with and have experienced that as a key to success.A major part of my career path was building a business from 1991-2012, I began Planwell leaving a role as an IT Manager in an end user organisation. It became the largest BMC partner in the region and delivered ITSM solutions to some of the largest companies in the country with Remedy and other products. It peaked at 150 staff in three countries and eight offices. After exiting my interests in Planwell I have established a Microsoft Practice in the System Center suite. This specialising in helping business gain value particularly in ITSM, Datacentre automation and Private Cloud areas. Specializing in the use of a cost effective integrated suite to manage IT Operations and taking a pragmatic business rather than pure technical approach to gaining value. Today my experience can be summarised as working directly with customers and service management toolsets to extract maximum value.
