Served as EVP, President – West for one of the largest shopping center owners in the Country for the past seven years. The West region encompassed a portfolio that varied from 85 to 115 assets in 7 states and totaled as much as 18.3MM square feet with over 2,300 individual tenants and an annual budget in excess of $250MM. In this capacity I oversaw a team of over 50 employees in 4 offices. I was directly responsible for all aspects of the region which was essentially a self-supporting REIT. This included leasing, operations, legal, redevelopment, transactions and construction for the West portfolio. During my tenure overseeing the region I consistently grew both same store and total NOI by over ~3% year over year. Not only was I able to increase top line rent and additional income I was able to reduce expenses while simultaneously improving the appearance and relevance of our centers. While we put a pause on new acquisitions since the COVID pandemic I successfully oversaw roughly $500MM in strategic dispositions, $600MM in new acquisitions during my tenure as EVP, President. I spearheaded efforts for approximately $300MM in redevelopments in the region at an average net rate of return in excess of 10%. At Brixmor I have been consistently promoted and have served as a Sr. Leasing Rep (2006-2008), VP of Leasing (2008-2013), SVP (2013-2016) and EVP, President (2016-2023).
