As a special Projects Assistant at the Indiana University School of Medicine's Center for Inclusive Excellence (CIE), I played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various program systems. This included tasks such as data input and quality control across platforms like Microsoft Teams, Excel, events management software, and Qualtrics, facilitating efficient and accurate information management. I actively contributed to the planning and execution of finance and events for Student Interest Groups, assisting in budget management and coordination to support the diverse activities within these groups. In addition I provided essential administrative support, including record keeping, content review, scheduling, deadline management, and website content control. These responsibilities were integral in maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation, ensuring adherence to timelines, and managing the online presence of the center effectively.

This internship consisted of learning targeted communication, customer relations, call to action, and personalization in direct marketing for Human Rights Watch, and Amnesty International. Being in different locations throughout the week in addition to speaking to over 50 differing individuals daily provided hands-on experience in customer relations and learning insights into effective personal marketing. While in this summer internship, I was able to get promoted to a position of leadership entailing training of new members, and learning the basics of team leadership in the field.

Within the position of enrichment I was given the role to improve and guide 40 members of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity In academics. This position entitled myself to maintain study tables through the week, and provide academic support. In addition to one on one guidance when members were struggling or lost within majors/ coursework.

Over the course of the fall semester I was tasked with introducing 25 freshman to the Indianapolis University Purdue Universities resources/programs on campus. Throughout the semester class was held for 2 hours every week to further communicate with students about resources, and skills they will need to become a successful student. In addition to meeting with each student twice through the semester to discuss academics, involvement and possibilities for self-improvement where it's needed.
