My love for computer science began in high school and only took off from there. In 2021 I began attending Boston University where I furthered my knowledge of the field. Through my coursework, I have a grasp on various programming languages, web development, algorithms, computer networks, as well as other skills which I found essential to achieve my professional goals.In the summer of 2023, I began working as an intern for ALM Systems and Controls, Inc. located in Bohemia, New York. In this position, I worked to learn everything I could about MQTT and IoT. With the knowledge I gained, I was able to create a proof-of-concept webpage to display live data from a PLC utilizing Amazon Web Services' EC2 and MQTT.After gaining this industry experience, I returned to Boston University for the next year where I picked up additional skills, importantly, computer networks. This would prove invaluable to me, as I was fortunate enough to land a position at Zebra Technologies working as a QA WLAN Engineer Intern. Today, I find myself constantly learning from an excellent team of people at the aforementioned company. When I return to complete my final year of undergraduate education, I hope to solidify my skills and knowledge for use within the professional world.
