I founded NB Consulting in 2006 with an audacious goal: enable customers to be self-sufficient in SAP.We’re passionate about setting you up for success, and it shows in the way we consult during your project. But what do we really mean by self-sufficient? To start, self-sufficiency means your ability to thrive in the long term, after our initial consulting work is complete. It means not having to contact, wait for, and pay your consulting company for every single change you want to make and every question you have.     • Lead SD/MM/VC consultant for the complete re-design, configuration, implementation, training and go live support of SAP ECC 6.0• Superior Group had purchased a fixed bid solution for HR and SD. HR was live and the SD design was incapable of going live and meeting the requirements. I convinced the customer that SD required a complete re-design and the implementation timeline was much longer than they had anticipated. This was an arduous task considering management thought they had already paid for an SAP solution• Complexities include a customer who is seriously under-staffed with high volume of weekly invoicing and multiple projects occurring concurrently, so it was essential to keep design simple• Used VC in a novel way; each line item of the SAP sales order and the MM purchase order is one week of billing, covering 9 shifts with different pricing, as well a dozen of other types of billing within a single line at the same time. For example, Regular, Over Time and Double Time billing, all with different hours for each and different prices can be billed on a single line. I designed their complex business (which does sound simple!) in VC with minimal dependency syntax gives Superior a ROI that they did not think possible in SAP. Nor did SAP, as they asked me to present it to their team.• Currently providing support and training part time remotely as needed• SAP Skills Used: organizational structures, order management, billing, pricing, variant configuration, document management, material master, purchasing, contracts, customer master, material master• Project Phases: business blueprint, requirements gathering, configuration, training and post go-live support

    • Initially challenging as the client was completely dissatisfied with SAP. The client is continuing to be more satisfied with their SAP 4.7 system• Replaced a custom order entry and pricing front end with standard SAP order entry, pricing, free goods and Sales BOMs. Besides eradicating a custom front end, which was resource intensive (headcount and system resources), we were able to add 3 columns to the VA01 screen without a core code change. This design and a change in how the profitability reports were written resolved several issues the owners had with the system. (Client does not have budget for BI or implementing PA.)• Built a standard configuration and custom solution to address the rebate requirement of free goods issued to customers based on sales volume in addition to the standard SAP rebate process• Built a standard configuration and custom solution to resolve complex and different commission processes across multiple company codes. This process allows commissions to be paid on a staggering scale based on many days past due the invoice is• Implemented shipment costing with a custom shipment cost document creation process at eight plants to give greater visibility (next day) of freight costs on profitability • Standardized the outbound shipment process across multiple plants and improved functionality with auto-magic picking and PGIs of deliveries and printing of output based on shipment status, enabling reporting for the cost of backhauls and implementing a custom collective picking design (as SAP requires elements of WM and customer does not have budget for WM)• Re-designed the 3rd party sale process to go via the D in SD so the customer freight cost was not lost in reporting• Rolled out a 2 manufacturing companies in two and one half months each. Was responsible for SD, LE-Transportation and MM design, configuration and training2015: Project Managed an implementation of WM with RF integration, Batch Management and Repetitive Manufacturing

This unit did not have much common with existing SAP business units, so it was almost a new build• I was the SD/MM/VC consultant and my business partner was the Technical Lead. We both project managed consultants and client analysts in our respective areas and reported to senior management.
