Hi! My name is Matthew, and I am a Senior at UNL studying Economics and Political Science. I am from Omaha and have loved my time studying in Lincoln. I love to connect with people. I am a weather enthusiest. And lately, I've been learning how to produce music using Logic Pro in a class I'm taking for fun in the Music College at UNL.RIght now, I am a Yeutter Student Fellow. This has served as my most rewarding experience at UNL so far. Through my fellowship, which focuses on international trade issues, I have the opportunity to work with three other brilliant students and alongside experts in ag science, economics, and trade policy. This spring, I will have the opportunity to work alongside my peers to serve as consultants for a world-renowned agriculture equpment manufacturer.I have also had the opportunity to serve as an intern at Union Pacific for over two years. Through this experience, I have learned how to use the analytical reasoning skills I've developed in school to provide real value to the largest railroad in the United States. My internship has helped me develop countless skills. And it has been a real thrill along the way.As a Resident Assistant, I've had the opportunity to lead students through their transition from high school to college. Having made that transition myself, I have found it meaningful to connect with my residnets and help them along their academic, personal, and professional journeys.I am excited about my future, and I am interested in connecting with you.
