Undergraduate student run organisation dedicated to enhancing the university experience for all students within the Department of Biology at McMaster University. Represents the program, students and provides the crucial link between students and the department at large. The society organises several events throughout the year that tailor to the needs and interests of the student body, which are both academic as well as social in nature.

Create, organise and present first year biology midterm review sessions and other events focused on undergraduate biology students. Serve as a contact representative for academic organisations and attend academic meetings as required with professors and the society. Demonstrate initiative and dedication towards enhancing the learning of others.

Responsible for connecting first year students in the Department of Biology to the Biology Society and relaying any questions or concerns that students may have. Act as a contact representative to advertise events and promote students to engage in the services provided by the society.

Reliably managed and kept a working inventory of the equipment for both men’s and women’s semi-professional teams . Assisted a registered athletic therapist in treatment and prevention of athletic injuries to ensure the athletes ability to perform at their fullest potential. Effectively communicated with up to 16 other semi-professional teams to ensure the regulations held by League 1 Ontario were maintained on a regular basis.

Coached recreational and semi-competitive players from ages of 7-14 where I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of players. Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills in creating weekly practice sessions and managing the duties of all other coaches. Effectively communicated over email with up to four competitive youth soccer teams and Rogers TV services to schedule and broadcast soccer games on a weekly basis.
